10x50 Relays: Regrettably SNSW has made the decision to cancel the 10x50m Freestyle Relays for this years Senior State Age Championships. Unfortunately the large number of people these events bring onto pool deck, do not allow for adequate social distancing and therefore this event will not be proceeding. All clubs will be refunded for their 10x50m Freestyle entries. All other relays will proceed.

  • 1500m & 800m Freestyle Events
    • Please note: for 1500 & 800 Freestyle Events, these will be swam as timed finals. The fastest 10 swimmers for these events will swim in the evening finals session.

    • The top 10 swimmers in the timed final events (i.e. those only swimming in the evening), still MUST advise the Clerk of the Course of their intention to swim the event, during the heats session- at least two events prior to their event. A coach or another club representative (i.e. another swimmer) can do this on the swimmer’s behalf. Failure to report to the Marshall by this time will result in withdrawal from the event.
  • Coaches
    • Coaches are required to pre-register for this event. Click Here
    • Coaches Conditions of Entry:
      • Coaches will be required to show ASCTA Accreditation to the door staff on arrival & will be required to wear their accreditation on a lanyard around their neck at all times whilst present in the venue. Failure to show ASCTA Accreditation will result in denied entry.
      • 'Field of Play' (pool deck) Vaccination Requirements: Swimming NSW has adopted it's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy (Field of Play), that came into effect as of Wednesday 15th December 2021. This policy requires all individuals who wish to enter the field of play (i.e. pool deck and its surrounding areas and rooms), to be fully vaccinated, except for competitors. This therefore includes all coaches, technical officials, support staff, volunteers (including club timekeepers) and staff.
      • This will be policed using a wrist band accreditation system. Upon arrival at the coaches door, all those that will require access to pool deck (i.e. you as a coach) must show your vaccination certificate to the staff member. You will then be given a coloured SNSW wristband that you must wear whilst on pool deck. Anyone not wearing one of these wristbands will be asked to leave the pool deck area immediately.
