- Entries for this meet will close at 5pm, Tuesday 14th December.
- Late entries will be accepted for only 24 hours following this closing time, however, will incur a $50 late entry fee
- Long Course & Short Course Times achieved since 1st October 2020 can be used to enter this meet
- An approved qualifying time must have been achieved, uploaded, and approved by the specified closing time and date of the meet

MC Swimmers must have their own support craft and personnel (not to be a swimmer in the water)
10km (Open, 17/18 Years)
Swimmers competing in the 2021 NSW Age & Open 10km Open water swimming championships must have swum a 5km event within the qualifying time at a SNSW approved 5km Open Water Swimming event since 1st October 2020
OR
Swimmers who have not swum a 10km qualifying time may enter the 10km event based on their time in the 800m Freestyle or 1500m Freestyle in accordance with the Pool Qualifying Procedure. Swimmers may also enter using a 2.5km time, that is equivalent to half the 5km qualifying time. Swimmers must be 14 years or over (as at 28th January 2022) to enter an Open event.
Please note: A QT will not be listed in Swim Central for the 10km Event and therefore will allow anyone to enter. Entries will be checked and those without an eligible qualifying time will be withdrawn.
7.5km (15, 16 & 17 Years)
Swimmers competing in the 2021 NSW Age 7.5km Open Water Swimming Championships must have swum a 5km event within the qualifying time at a Swimming New South Wales approved 5km Open Water Swimming event since the 1st of October, 2020.
OR
Swimmers have achieved the 5km pool qualifying time at an approved 5km time trial on or after 1st of October, 2020.
OR
Swimmers who have not swum a 5km qualifying time may enter into the 7.5km event based on their time in the 800m freestyle or 1500m freestyle in accordance with the Pool Qualifying Procedure.
Swimmers may also enter using a 2.5km time, that is equivalent to half the 5km qualifying time. Swimmers entered into the 7.5km events are not eligible to enter the 10km event as these will be swum at the same time.
Please note: A QT will not be listed in Swim Central for the 7.5km Event and therefore will allow anyone to enter. Entries will be checked and those without an eligible qualifying time will be withdrawn.
Swimmers must have achieved the 5km qualifying times at a recognised 5km open water swimming event on or after 1st October, 2020.
OR
Swimmers have achieved the 5km pool qualifying time at an approved 5km time trial on or after 1st October, 2020.
OR
Swimmers who have not swum a 5km qualifying time may enter into the 5km event based on their time in the 400m, 800m or 1500m freestyle in accordance with the Pool Qualifying Procedure. Swimmers may also enter using a 2.5km time, that is equivalent to half the 5km qualifying time. Swimmers must be 14 years or over to enter an Open event as at 28 th January, 2022
FOR 5KM ENTRIES THAT WILL UTILISE POOL TIMES/SHORTER DISTANCES, A MANUAL ENTRY MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THIS FORM
Swimmers aged 11 ‐ 13 years of age as at 20th December, 2021 that have achieved the JX Qualification standards since 1st October, 2020 in either of the Bronze, Silver and Gold pool standards. Please ensure you have reached these standards before entering.

Entries are via Swim Central for the JX 2.5km.
This event is open to Interstate Athletes, border restrictions permitting. Please follow the same entry procedures as NSW athletes.
The Tri Husky (6th November 2021) and Vlad Swim Challenge (11th December 2021) are recognised events to achieve qualifying time for 2021 NSW Open Water Championships.
If you will be using times achieved at these events, please place your entry via the manual entry form found above.
Please note: times will be verified by SNSW & must meet the qualifying criteria.
