Swimming NSW is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Directors to its Board. Graeme Field and Alexis Dodwell will fill the casual vacancy positions created with the retirement of long serving members Graham Towle OAM and Lynn Lonngren.
Both Graham (12 years) and Lynn (15 years) reached their maximum terms as Directors under the Swimming NSW Constitution.
President Chris Fydler OAM said, “Both Lynn and Graham have made an incredible and long-term contribution to the betterment of Swimming in NSW and we are incredibly grateful for their contribution to our organisation and continuing contribution to the sport of swimming in NSW.
“Our new directors, Alexis and Graeme certainly have some big shoes to fill, but we think both bring an excellent level of experience and complementary skills to our Board.
"With over 10 years experience on the Swimming NSW Technical Committee, a qualified Level 2 Referee, and a former President of the SMNE region, Graeme brings a wealth of swimming experience and knowledge to the Board.
"Alexis is currently a member of our Audit and Risk committee, a qualified lawyer and AICD graduate. She brings a significant capability to strengthen our board in the areas of risk and governance.”
