Event Details
The 2021 Australian Swimming Championships will see Australian titles awarded to open and top age athletes. Heats will be swum combined with three finals per event, with the youngest age swum first.
In a point of difference to recent program schedules, finals will be swum in the morning and heats in the evening, replicating and preparing athletes for what they will experience in Tokyo.
QUALIFYING TIMES
Swimming Australia has been monitoring how swimmers’ have been progressing due to COVID-19 over the summer.
We are pleased to advise that we have revised the QT’s which can be found under the competitors tab below which will allow more swimmers’ to qualify given the difficult year it has been across our community.

Swimming Australia will be delivering this event in accordance with the Swimming Pool and Aquatics Centre Industry COVID safe plan.

WILL THE EVENT GO AHEAD?
We're planning full steam ahead for our April events on the Gold Coast. In addition, we have been working with every Member Organisation to ensure if there is one or more border closures for swimmers’, coaches and their families, that we have commenced planning of what may be possible for swimmers in their home state.
WHERE TO WATCH
We recently signed a partnership with Amazon Prime Video, and our two April events will be the first opportunity for Australians and people around the world to watch Australian swimming via Amazon Prime Video.

Qualifying time must be achieved after 1 January 2019.
The minimum age for open events is 13 years for females and 14 years for males as at the first day of competition.
Age is taken as at 14 April 2021.
Medal ceremonies for this meet will be delivered in a condensed format throughout each morning session.

Due to unforeseen logistical challenges, arena cannot offer pre-order sales for event merchandise for the upcoming 2021 Australian Age Swimming Championships and Australian Swimming Championships.
Event merchandise will be available for sale at the event only via the arena pop up marquee, which will be open from 10am on Sunday 4 April. To ensure no one misses out, more stock will be on hand at the event to fulfill orders. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause
Swimming Australia is pleased to be able to offer Swimmer Pin Holders the opportunity to order a limited number of tickets for the 2021 Australian Swimming Championships in line with the Swimmer Pin Holder Ticketing Policy.
Where possible, tickets will be emailed prior to the event. Where this option is not practical, tickets will be available for collection from the Ticket Box Office under your name.
For the 2021 Australian Swimming Championships Swimmer Pin Holders are entitled to one (1) complimentary double pass to each heat session and one (1) complimentary double pass to one (1) finals session of their choice.
Swimmer Pin Holders competing at an event will not be eligible to apply for Swimmer Pin Tickets for that event. All competitors will be allocated an accreditation pass for the event which provides sufficient access to all areas of the venue while they are competing.
