NSW Clubgrants Program

On 31 July, the NSW Government officially opened another round of the Clubgrants program. This round includes a dedicated stream specifically aimed at supporting sport and recreation infrastructure projects. For clubs and organisations involved in sports and recreation, this presents an opportunity to secure funding of between $50,000 and $300,000 for much-needed facilities and upgrades.

The Clubgrants Program has been instrumental in providing financial support to a diverse range of projects across NSW. Now, with the introduction of the sport and recreation infrastructure stream, it promises to further bolster the development of sports facilities and venues within the state.

Eligible clubs and venue operators are encouraged to collaborate with local councils and other relevant stakeholders to put together applications.

If you are a club or venue operator interested in applying for the Clubgrants program, it's important to act quickly as applications for this round will close on 21 August 2023. However, don't worry if you miss this deadline; another round is set to open on 27 November, providing a second chance to secure funding for your sports and recreation infrastructure projects.

The NSW Government has released a program guide that outlines the criteria and requirements for the Clubgrants infrastructure stream. It is recommended that interested parties review this guide to ensure their applications align with the program's objectives and guidelines.

The guide and applications can be found HERE.

Any clubs or venues with applications ready can contact Swimming NSW who will support their application process by providing letters of support from Swimming NSW and Swimming Australia.

So, if you are part of a club or venue looking to enhance your sports and recreation infrastructure, seize this opportunity provided by the Clubgrants program. Collaborate with councils, venue operators, and other stakeholders to develop strong applications that showcase the potential benefits of your project. Take advantage of the support offered by Swimming NSW and Swimming Australia to bolster your application's chances of success.

Remember, applications close on 21 August 2023 for this round, with another round scheduled to open on 27 November 2023.
