Another exciting night for the Mighty Blues swimmers with our Para swimmers trying to qualify for the Australian Para Swimming Team to compete in the Para Swimming World Championships in July/August. In some of the highlights:
- Jasmine Greenwood (Cruiz) – 50m Freestyle Multi-Class swam the team qualifying time. Congratulations to Jasmine and her coach Marty Roberts (AIS Para Performance Program). In doing so she also picked up the SILVER medal.
- Timothy Hodge (ACU Blacktown) – 100m Backstroke Multi-Class – SILVER – Coach Misha Payne (also another team Q time)
It was a great effort to see NSW swimmers claim the Silver & Bronze medals in the 200m Breaststroke, and Bronze in the 50m Backstroke.
- Matthew Wilson (SOPAC – NSWIS HUB) – 200m Breaststroke – SILVER – Coach Adam Kable
- Angus Menzies (Knox Pymble) – 200m Breaststroke – BRONZE – Coach Nick Dobson
- Bradley Woodward (Mingara– NSWIS HUB) – 50m Backstroke – BRONZE – Coach Adam Kable
