Australian Age MC Championships: Day 2 Wrap

Day 2: NSW Swimmers continue to dominate on the Gold Coast: 

Another great night in the pool where NSW swimmers continued their medal haul. They added another 38 medals, making it a total of 89 over the 2 nights of finals. 

Leading the charge tonight with stella performances were Declan Budd (Knox Pymble) 3 Golds; Beau Matthews (Southern Sydney) 3 Golds; Mia Hogan (Albury) 3 Golds Noah Erne (13yrs) (Lower Blue Mountains SC) 2 Golds, 1 Silver.

Other Gold medal winning performances: Dorothy Pasko (North Albury) 1 Gold, 1 Silver; Jordan Huynh (Campbelltown) 1 Gold, 1 Silver; Jayden Van Stralen (Picton) 1 Gold; Alyssa Gillespie (Narrabeen) 1 Gold.

There were some great race plans executed perfectly by the swimmers…especially in the distance events. It was terrific how the swimmers went about their business…a huge congratulations to the coaches! 

Tonight’s medal breakdown: 15 Gold, 11 Silver & 12 Bronze. The total now stands at: 32 Gold, 25 Silver & 32 Bronze.
