Day 1: Gold Rush on the Gold Coast for the Mighty Blues MC Swimmers:

The first night of finals at the 2024 Australian MC Age Championships started with a bang for our NSW swimmers. The finals are swum in three age brackets: 12-13 years; 14-15 years and 16-18 years.

Leading the gold rush were two of our youngest swimmers Noah Erne (13yrs) (Lower Blue Mountains SC) and Mia Hogan (Albury) winning 8 Golds between them…Noah won 5 golds and Mia 3 Golds & 2 Silvers. The ever-reliable Declan Budd (Knox Pymble) showed why he was selected onto his first Australian Team (2024 European Open Championships) winning 3 Golds and a Silver. Beau Matthews (Southern Sydney) swam brilliantly to win 2 Golds & 1 Silver.
