Day 5: The Mighty Blues impressive with another 9 Golds:
Another day, more golds for the Mighty Blues swimmers! Once again there were some outstanding swims on Day 5 at the 2024 Australian Age Championships…with a couple of clean sweeps thrown in!
Our triple treats were in the Girls 15yrs 50m Freestyle & the Boys 17yrs 200 IM. Congratulations to Lillie Mcpherson (Manly – Coach Justin Rothwell) Gold, Frankie Somerville (Cranbrook – Coach Tom Sunter) Silver and Asha Ring (SOPAC – Coach Matt Brown) Bronze. In the boys 200 IM Sam Higgs (Warringah – Coach Angelo Basalo) Gold, Oscar Kreutzberger (North Albury – Coach Mitch Brown) Silver and Brayden Woodford (West Illawarra – Coach Pat Stellino) Bronze. Awesome job!
