Day 4 Finals:
Finals night on day 4 was a busy one for NSW swimmers. Leading off was Abbey Webb (CRUIZ) who finished 8th in the Women’s 200m Backstroke. Great to see Abbey training again at the AIS with Shannon Rollason after a stint in the US. In the B final Emily Jones (Hunter) swam well to improve her heat time by 0.56 to finish 14th overall.

In the Men’s 200m IM NSW was represented by three swimmers in the A final. Se-Bom Lee (Carlile) placed 4th in a time of 2:01.15 after initially being DQ'd but being re-instated. Establishing a new PB was Joshua Kerr (Manly) who came in 7th in 2:01.77 taking 0.68 off his entry time. Gabriel Gorgas (Knox Pymble) placed 8th in a time of 2:02.82.

In the Women’s 200m fly Abbey Connor (Revesby Workers) came 2nd in a time of 2:07.61…under the Worlds qualifying time. In 5th place was Bella Grant (Trinity Grammar) and in 8th place was Rafaela Kopellou (SOPAC) who was competing in her first National final.

In the Women’s 50m Breaststroke Isabella Johnson (CRUIZ) came 8th in 0:32.27…she took 0.04 off her entry time.

Maddy Gough and Brad Woodward both deciding to withdraw from their day 4 finals in the 800m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke to concentrate on the 1500m Freestyle and 200m Backstroke respectiveley.
