Multi-cultural Swim Clubs
Australia is a highly diverse country, made up of many nationalities, religions and races. New immigrants arrive in our great country all the time, looking for ways to become part of their community. Joining a swim club is a great way to make new friendships, learn a life skill and to learn English through conversation.
Help with Language Barriers
Not being able to speak the language in a new country can be really hard, so Swimming Australia have found a way to make it easier for immigrant families and club committee members to communicate.
All Swimming NSW stakeholders can now access a telephone interpreter service. Swimming Australia are paying for this service so it can be completely free of charge for clubs and members to use. Download the guide below to learn how to use this service.
