Newington Swimming are looking for a motivated coach eager to extend their coaching career. The successful applicant will take on the main role of overseeing Silver Squad (NSW State Level) along with assisting with Junior squads and some light administration tasks.

The main duties of this role include but are not limited to:
- Have a strong understanding of both the physiological and psychological needs for swimmer development.
- Develop a season plan to maximise team unity, and swimming performance.
- Assist swimmers’ performance by providing:
- Small group or individual goal setting
- Race and training feedback
- Team performance reviews
- Assist with the growth of Newington Swim Club.
- Willingness to work as part of a strong team environment.
- Assist in the administration of the swim squads.
- Always ensure safety and supervision of all children in the squads.
- Ensure Teacher of Swimming Australia, Aust Swim or equivalent qualification is maintained.
- When necessary, attend Newington club nights and targeted swim meets.
