This National Reconciliation Week, Swimming NSW acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Wangal people of the Dharug nation on which our Swimming NSW workplace is based.
Swimming NSW also acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land across the wide swimming landscape in NSW. We pay respect to their culture, history and Elders, past, present and emerging.
Swimming NSW is in strong support of Reconciliation Australia’s theme for 2021, ‘More than a word. Reconciliation takes action’, which urges the reconciliation movement towards braver and more impactful action. 2021 marks twenty years of Reconciliation Australia and almost three decades of Australia’s formal reconciliation process. As an organisation we are committed to being an integral part of Australia’s reconciliation journey.
