The Mighty Blues - Jon Shaw's NSW State Open Wrap

Swimmers waiting at the starting blocks at NSW State Open

The NSW State Open Championships concluded on Sunday 17 March with some great performances by NSW swimmers. The meet is used for Open swimmers to get a gauge of where they’re at with the Australian Swimming Championships some 20 days away and the Australian World Championship Trials (82 days to prepare for this). Australian Age swimmers are in their final preparation for National Championships that start on 15 April in Adelaide (just under 4 weeks away) - a great opportunity to race against some of the best swimmers in the land.
