Head Coach and National Age Performance Coach needed at Blacktown

Swimming NSW, Blacktown City Council, Australian Catholic University & ACU Blacktown Swim Team are partnering to bring a world-class coaching program to the Blacktown Aquatic Centre Squad program. Swimming NSW will use its significant coaching experience to provide a team of Coaches that will provide athlete and coaching pathways from Learn to Swim through to the National Team at one of NSW’s premier Aquatic Centres. 

We are currently advertising two roles at Blacktown Aquatic Centre - Head Coach and National Age Performance Coach.

The Head Coach will provide exceptional leadership to this team of coaches through their advanced technical knowledge and outstanding communication skills. It is vital that this Coach provides whole of program approach ensuring that every swimmer in the pathway has the opportunity to reach their potential and are supported by their coach to achieve this.

The National Age Performance Coach will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily and seasonal coaching programs for the National Age Performance Squad in line with the technical direction set by the Head Coach. It is vital that this Coach understands their role within the wider Blacktown Coaching program and develops and prepares swimmers to progress along the Blacktown Squad Pathway.

This is a rare opportunity to work at one of NSW’s premier sporting facilities and to become a valued member of the Swimming NSW team.
