2021 Courtyard by Marriott NSW Country SC Championships- NEW DATES: 27th-29th August 2021

Due to the extended lockdown in Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Blue Mountains and Wollongong, Swimming NSW has again had to reschedule NSW Country SC Championships. The event will now take place on the 27th-29th August. The age-up date will remain at 25th June 2021 Entries will now close on Tuesday 17th August at 5pm. 

We have outlined options we hope will suit our members who may find themselves in a variety of scenarios following the second reschedule of this event, including what to do if:

  • You are still attending as planned
  • You can no longer attend
  • You can only attend some of the rescheduled days/events
  • You had not yet entered
  • You had withdrawn & requested a refund but now wish to swim

GETTING THERE

Rescheduled Event Entry Information

  • You are still attending the event
  • Your entries as listed in Swim Central will remain and will be entered for the rescheduled event.

    Your entry fees from the original event will cover entries for the new event.

    No further action from you is required, unless you wish to place additional entries, then please enter these via the event in Swim Central (by the closing date of 5pm 17th August)

  • You cannot attend
  • Any athletes that cannot attend the rescheduled event are eligible for a full refund.

    Athletes or their parents must request their own refund for their entry fees via Swim Central, following these instructions.

    Please ensure a refund is requested for every race you wish to withdraw from.

    Refund requests will be approved within 48hours by SNSW

    If a swimmer is no longer able to swim in relays, please ensure you let your club know ASAP.

  • You can only attend some dates or events
  • For the events you are still racing, these entries will remain and no further action is required.

    For the events you are withdrawing from, please follow this refund process for those events only.

    If a swimmer is no longer able to swim in relays, please ensure you let your club know ASAP.

  • You withdrew & were refunded and now wish to attend
  • If you had withdrawn & been refunded, but now wish to attend the new dates, the event is re-opened in Swim Central for you to enter.

    As of 9am, 15th July, all refund requests for the previous dates, have been approved.

  • You weren't entered to attend the previous dates but now wish to attend
  • The event has now reopened for entries and therefore gives you the opportunity to enter now if you wish. For those that are entering new events, the new event in Swim Central will close on Tuesday 17th August at 5pm. No late entries will be permitted.  

  • You are a coach or club administrator with relay queries
  • The same applies for relays as does individual events, also including adding new teams if you wish.

    If a swimmer is no longer able to swim in relays, please ensure you let your club know ASAP.

    If your relay teams have changed, please email these changes directly to greta.brodie@nsw.swimming.org.au

Event Information

  • Entry Fine Print
    • The Minimum age for this event is 9 Years old as of 25th June 2021
    • Long Course and Short Course times, achieved since 1st May, 2019, that are under the QT, can be used to enter this meet
    • An approved qualifying time must have been achieved, uploaded, approved & verified by the specified closing time and date of the meet
    • It is the responsibility of the person processing the online entries to ensure that all times listed in the system are legal and valid to the swimmer. Errors can happen in Swim Central from time to time so we trust that stakeholders will not take advantage of this and use incorrect times to process entry into events they do not actually qualify for. In the event that you process an entry on an incorrect time, you will be withdrawn from that event and no refund will be given
    • Payment for online Individual and online Relay entries must be completed online via credit card at the time of processing in order to be accepted
    • Individual Entries - $20
    • Relay Entries - $40
    • Swimming NSW does not take any responsibility for entries processed via AnotherPB or any other external avenue. Please ensure you have checked that your entries and payments were successful with these companies prior to the entry closing date to ensure your entries will be accepted on time
  • Multi-Class Entries
  • Multi-Class Entries are to be submitted via Swim Central

    Multi Class events are championship events and qualifying times apply. Whilst the OME system will allow MC swimmers to enter all MC events – please ensure you read the MC Qualifying Times and only enter events for which you qualify. Entry times will be checked and any swimmers who do not have the correct entry time for their entries, will be withdrawn and no refund will be given.

    Multi-Class Support 
    Multi-Class Swimmers are permitted to have one support person/carer on the athletes side of the venue with them at this event. Support persons must have a valid WWCC and apply in advance. Please complete this application form at least 5 days prior to the event. 

  • Relays
    • Where a club enters three (3) or more relay teams in one events, all teams must meet the qualifying time to be eligible
    • A swimmer may only appear in one (1) relay team list for that event
    • A Maximum of one (1) swimmer may swim up an age group
    • Refer to the program & QTs above for relay qualifying times

    Relay Entry Procedures:

          OPTION 1-

    • Relay Entries via Swim Central are preferred. Instructions can be found here
    • When you have a swimmer swimming up an age group, you will not be able to submit your team via Swim Central and therefore will need to use the below option

          OPTION 2-

    • If unable to enter via Swim Central, relay entries can be submitted via TM File
    • Please email greta.brodie@nsw.swimming.org.au to request the TM File. 
  • Spectator Tickets
  • ALL TICKET SALES FOR THIS EVENT HAVE CURRENTLY BEEN PAUSED. 

    Current Ticketholder Information (For those who purchased tickets prior to the postponement)

    • If you still will be attending & keeping your spectator tickets
      • You will be able to keep the same tickets for the new date that will permit your entry
    • If you can no longer attend the event
      • A full refund of your spectator tickets is granted. The email from Ticketbooth will request the completion of this form which will initiate the refund process.
      • The form must be completed by, 9th August
    • If you need to change the name on your tickets
      • Follow the instructions found on this page, to change the name on your tickets.

    Working With Children Check

    As of January 1st, 2015, it has become a requirement of the Sporting Organisation that all our staff, officials and volunteers have applied for a Working With Children Check.

    If you have not yet completed this, you can apply for a WWC number HERE.

    Please note: for volunteers (including volunteers and technical officials), this is free to obtain.

  • Parking
  • Spectators are entitled to $18 Flat Rate Parking. Spectators will receive a parking validation ticket upon exiting the venue and will need to process this at the parking station. 

  • COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures
  • We ask that you please be aware of the following safety information in relation to the event. This advice may change prior to the meet and any changes will be communicated directly with you.

    • If you or any member of your household are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the event.
    • If you or any member of your household have tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend the event.
    • If you or any member of your household have visited any of the locations listed on the NSW Health website here, https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates or Victoria in the last 14 days, please do not attend the event. Please note that this page is updated daily, so we ask that you check back regularly to this page prior to the event.
    • If you are unable to attend due to the reasons above, Swimming NSW will provide you with a full refund for your entries.
    • All swimmers and spectators will need to register their details with a Swimming NSW staff member prior to entry into the venue.
    • Please practice proper hygiene whilst present at the event and if you do begin to feel unwell during the day, please leave the venue. There will be several hand sanitiser stations available throughout the venue as well as fully stocked bathroom facilities.
    • Swimming NSW encourages the wearing of masks at the event for spectators and competitors when they are not swimming, although this is not mandatory.
    • Please be mindful of social distancing at all times, particularly for spectators
    • There will be COVID Marshalls and Swimming NSW staff in attendance at the Aquatic Centre and respectfully ask for your compliance and cooperation with complying with instructions from these individuals.
    • We ask that you minimise your time at the venue and only attend for the period that you need to swim. We encourage all competitors to shower at home after the meet.
    • Swimming NSW encourages competitors to bring any food or drink they require with them  and do not share this with others. 
    • Please bring with you, all of your own equipment that you need to compete and please do not share this with others.
    • Swimming NSW staff will ensure that any equipment that does need to be shared to ensure the smooth running of the meet is cleaned at regular intervals throughout the event.
