  • Heats & Finals Format
  • This year’s Multi-Class Championships will be swam as a heats & finals format. Swimmers will contest the heats and then finals will consist of ten (10) swimmers, with priority given to the top three (3) swimmers of each class.

Should there be less than 10 (ten) total swimmers for that event in the heats, swimmers will automatically advance to the finals. However, swimmers are still permitted to swim in both the heats & finals session, if they wish. Those that choose to swim in both the heats & finals (for events with less than 10 competitors) but must notify Swimming NSW in advance if they choose to do so. Please refer to the psych sheet above for events that have 10 or less competitors.

  • COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements
  • As per the NSW Government COVID-19 restrictions, all attendees aged 16 Years & Over (including Athletes, Spectators, Coaches, Technical Officials & Staff) must be fully vaccinated to enter SOPAC & attend any SNSW Event.

This rule is enforced until NSW reaches 95% double dose OR the 15th December (whichever happens sooner). Those aged 15 & under do not need to be fully vaccinated.

Proof of vaccination must be shown upon arrival to grant entry (each time you enter the venue) as well as check-in via the Service NSW App. If you do not have access to a smart phone, details can be noted down upon entry with the door staff.
