Youth Leadership Camp 2018 - Nominate Now

Image (c) Swimming Australia

Nominations were open until June 29th for SNSW swimmers aged 11-15 years who wish to attend a 2018 Swimming NSW Lane Ropes to Leadership Camp.
The aim of the camp is to up-skill the young leaders of our sport in the areas of coaching, technical, event management, public speaking and personal development. They will gain valuable knowledge and experience which they can bring back to help create an environment at their own clubs which encourages teenagers to keep swimming.

The camp levy is $100 per swimmer and we encourage the clubs to cover this cost as a way of recognising their young leaders and encouraging them to attend. There will be no other costs except for getting to and from the camp. Buses may be arranged to assist out of area swimmers with getting to the camps if required.

The camps will be in September 2018 and you must be available for the entire duration of the camp. (approx. 10am Saturday until 2pm Sunday) There will be a maximum of 30 places available at each camp (approx. two from each club).

Locations and specific dates are:
Tamworth (Lake Keepit) – September 15th/16th - ONLY 5 SPACES LEFT!
Coffs Harbour Adventure Centre - September 15th/16th - FULLY BOOKED
Dubbo/Orange (Lake Burrendong) - September 22nd/23rd - FULLY BOOKED
